Maybe she is part of the mayor’s club!

We have been counting the children coming to our house for Halloween since 2009. This year was our highest total ever. Parents with young children seemed eager to give their kids a fun night out. We never had more than five kids at a time, so I assume everyone was staying within their bubble. My wife took candy straight from the box with salad tongs and dropped it on our outdoor slide, which went to waiting bags. We kept a safe distance and wore masks. All in all, I think everyone had a good and safe time. Oh, to the young bandits that stole my pumpkin garage door laser projector, happy Halloween! Be careful, the next guy might not let you get away.
(All things considered, our first COVID Halloween seemed to go very well for the little ones. The weather helped. We can only hope the adults behaved.)
